HAWX is the brainchild of an expert team of footwear developers, work boot merchandisers, and product strategists—people who have spent their entire careers in the retail and work boot industry.
With years of retail experience, industry insight, and direct customer feedback, this team identified a clear gap in the workwear market: emerging tradesmen who weren’t being served by legacy brands. These are the workers who take great pride in their trades, who show up day in and day out to feed, build, and fuel the nation. This customer needed robust, industry-specific gear, tailored to the diverse needs of their individual trades. They also needed something they could identify with personally, workwear that reflected their work ethic, lifestyle, and identity.
That’s when the team thought of HAWX.
What started in 2017 as a bold idea has since evolved into a popular brand grounded in performance, comfort, and trade-specific design. Every HAWX product is built around real-world worker needs, and after rigorous research, proprietary safety and comfort technology development, and countless iterations of design to perfect each product, HAWX has evolved into a go-to solution for skilled trades industry workers. We field test, fit test, and wear test, we get feedback, develop proprietary technology to best serve the people wearing the boots, and construct our boots—lace-up, pull-on, safety toe, soft toe, puncture resistant, waterproof, and so on—to provide the experience the industrial workforce is looking for.
