The Men's Hawx 8 Grade Work Boots are incredibly comfortable with a soft sole that is prefect for finish work. Could not be happier with my new boots. They do run 1 size small.
The website said full grain leather upper but the tag on the boots say genuine leather. So if the upper is actually just genuine leather and not full grain are the lowers even leather at all. The stitching is good quality but unfortunately it's holding lower quality leather together.
I've had quite a few pair of these and always been really happy with them until now. I don't know if they changed the style I may have just gotten a bad batch. They're proving impossible to break in unlike previous ones I've had which were comfy from day one. I've mink oiled them and tried to break them in but only ended up with blisters. Might have to just eat the cost of these and try another pair because I want to love them like I have before.
Falling apart at the seams after a couple of months. The last pair I bought wore out in the toe after a couple of months. I actually work in construction so if you do too I suggest you purchase a higher quality boot.
